A big R.I.P to Mariners broadcaster Dave Niehaus, who I don't actually have much experience listening to in actual baseball circles, but whom I will always remember solely for Ken Griffey Jr baseball games on the N64. So addicting, so wonderful. Actually, I think I need to finish this post so I can do a Fantasy Draft. Hope I can get Barry Larkin early so that I don't wind up with Norberto Martin at shortstop!

My oh my!
Baltimore Ravens @ Atlanta Falcons - 7:20 PM, NFL Network - Our first Thursday night game of the year is a doozy. Two teams with much better running offenses that will have to pass to find success on the opposing defenses.
Boston Celtics @ Miami Heat - 7 PM, TNT - If Kevin Garnett calls LeBron James a cancer in a half-full arena, does it really matter?
Los Angeles Lakers @ Denver Nuggets - 9:30 PM, TNT - The Lake Show continues to give the New Orleans Hornets reason to aspire higher. Will it keep up tonight?

Goodbye baseball!
College football - Pittsburgh Panthers @ Connecticut Huskies - 6:30 PM, ESPN - Of course Dave Wannstedt's moustache is still around. Like you needed extra reasons to watch a game that Craig James will be involved in.
Tampa Bay Lightning @ Washington Capitals - 6 PM, NHL Network - I'm beginning to think they just put every Capitals game on NHL Network.
Serie A - Parma vs. Sampdoria - 1:45 PM, Fox Soccer Channel - Hernan Crespo is finally keeping it real now that he's away from Lazio.

Call me call me call me Junior
Grey's Anatomy - 8 PM, ABC - This episode is titled "Something's Gotta Give," and I agree. Something definitely does have to give. How much longer can this show last?
