The Houston Texans (4-6) return home after Mark Sanchez did his best Joe Montana impression in the last minute of last week's game. Houston will welcome their hated division rivals, the Tennessee Titans (5-5), to Reliant Stadium for Sunday's week 12 match-up. If the Texans hope to put together a playoff run, if you're still believing in that, then Sunday's game is a must-win. A win, with realistic help, puts them a game back in the division, while a loss effectively will be the nail in the coffin.
Similar to the Texans, Tennessee is coming in on a three-game losing streak. There are a lot of outside distractions for the Titans. Vince Young has been placed on injured reserve, Young has gotten into it with head coach Jeff Fisher, offensive coordinator Mike Heimerdinger has relieved his duties to undergo chemotherapy (best wishes out to him and his family), and Rusty Smith will be making his first career start in the NFL. Last week, the Titans committed three penalties to set up Washington for the game-winning field. All in all, Tennessee enters this week in a bit of disarray.
The disarray has influenced the picks as everyone at CBS, ESPN, and Yahoo are taking the Texans in the match-up of the AFC's top two running backs - Houston's Arian Foster and Tennessee's Chris Johnson.
It'll be an early game on CBS, 12 PM CT, and your usual suspects will pick up the radio: Sports Radio 610 AM, 100.3 KILT FM and La Tremenda 1010 AM if you prefer Spanish.
The betting line is off-board at the moment.
