Andre Johnson Disagrees Kindly With Cortland Finnegan

Cortland Finnegan has a bit of a reputation in the National Football League. When the top Google result for your name is 'CORTLAND FINNEGAN DIRTY,' it's probably not without reason.

In fact, when asked last year if he aspired to be as reputably dirty as Hines Ward, Cortland Finnegan got a bit, well, excited:

"It’s a compliment. That’s absolutely a compliment," Finnegan said. "He was voted the league’s dirtiest player, so you’ve got to give it up for him. For someone to say something as nice as that, I appreciate it. I’m number [six] right now, but I’m aspiring to one day hopefully be No. 1. So, I appreciate it."

On Sunday afternoon, he found a way to go so deep that the matter of fact that there's even a HuffPo article floating around out there attesting to your dirtiness comes as not even remotely a surprise. Managing to cut so deep as to irritate one of the NFL's most business-like professionals out there, the Texans' Andre Johnson, Finnegan found himself on the receiving end of some martial law:

While there's no dignifying Johnson's apparent overreaction, you can't help but wonder what prompted him to snap -- and more, how long the Texans will have to be without their premier play-maker.
