That is roughly the cognitive processing power my brain posses this morning. That extra hour of sleep needed to be about 4, but I digress; something's happening on television somewhere.

Pro football: San Diego Chargers at Houston Texans, 12:00 PM, CBS -- Antonio Gates is out -- OR IS HE?! The Texans need a bounce back game in the worst of ways after a late rally came up short last Monday night in Indianapolis. The Texans D needs... Well to show any kind of life after our long national nightmare (let's just say its name rhymes with Crank Bore) bellows on and the Texans continue to occupy the bottom of many of the total team defense metrics. Getting Norv'd would certainly not be a pleasant way to end the weekend, but you may as well watch and enjoy the wild ride regardless.

Pro basketball: Minnesota Timberwolves at Houston Rockets, 6:00 PM, FSHouston -- The 1-4 T'Wolves come to town as the Rockets desperately seek to put one up in the win column. San Antonio proved to be quite the tease last night, but the Wolves may be precisely what Dr. Slumpbuster prescribed. Yao Ming will continue his re-immersion into the Houston offense; here's hoping for some late game execution from the rest of the side.

The Walking Dead, 8:00, AMC -- Whether you like zombie flicks or not, watch it. AMC's giving HBO a run for their money in terms of body of programming lately; this is their most recent masterpiece in the making.
