The Houston Rockets have agreed to a trade that will bring Terrence Williams from the New Jersey in exchange for the Rockets' 2012 first round pick.
Williams, the Nets first round pick last season, was averaging 6.7 points and 3.6 rebounds in 10 games played for the Nets this season. He also spent time with the Nets' D-League team, the Springfield Armor, which was initially reported as a form of punishment. Williams, however, excelled in the D-League by averaging a triple-double in three games before the Nets recalled him.
The trade, which was first reported by Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski, also includes Los Angeles Lakers guard Sasha Vujacic and the Lakers 2011 first round pick going to New Jersey and Nets forward Joe Smith being shipped to the Lakers.
To make room for Terrence Williams, the Rockets will send 2009's second round pick, Jermaine Taylor, to the Sacramento Kings for a future second round pick according to ESPN's Marc Stein. Taylor played in eight games for the Rockets this season, averaging 4.9 points in 9.6 minutes of action.
