What's On Television Today: December 15th, 2010

A list of things to watch while we sort out whether Carmelo Anthony will be a New Jersey Net or not, what part the Rockets first round pick that was surrendered for Terrence Williams has to do with it, and why local television stations, Mark Berman exempted, don't usually have the best sources in the world.

Carmelo, Houston Rocket
Houston Rockets @ Oklahoma City Thunder -- Fox Sports Houston, 7 PM -- Try not to be surprised that these teams are meeting for the third time this season on December 15th. It's the rubber match! (Shawn Kemp joke)
Liga Venezolana -- Magallanes vs. La Guaira -- ESPN3.com, 5:30 PM -- It's such a strong sports night that this slides right up to #2. Yikes.

Carmelo, New Jersey Net
Boston Celtics @ New York Knicks -- ESPN, 6 PM -- Sure would be nice if the Rockets could actually utilize that draft pick swap plan...any Celtics wanna do the deed and injure Amare Stoudemire? No? I knew I should've asked Raja Bell.
College Basketball -- Auburn Tigers @ South Florida Bulls -- ESPNU, 8 PM -- No truth to the rumor that Auburn has brought back Chris Porter sans afro and tried to pass him off as a new recruit. At least not yet.

Carmelo, New York Knick
Portland Trail Blazers @ Dallas Mavericks -- ESPN, 8:30 PM -- Yes, it should be a good game. On the other hand, it involves Dallas. Meh.
New York Rangers @ Pittsburgh Penguins -- Versus, 6 PM -- The odds of Versus showing 2 Penguins games on consecutive nights are roughly the same that the Texans defense gives up points on any given drive.
