Steph Stradley Lets Us Access Joe Marciano

In a continuing series for her blog over at the Chronicle, Steph Stradley has had video of the coaches interviews at Texans All Access earlier in the month. Today she has a doozy of a post with video of special teams coach Joe Marciano, whom she describes as "one of those people who makes your day better," and as usual, she's right. I'm not sure I'm ready to run through a brick wall, but I definitely feel more optimistic on viewing the tape.

If you're rushed for time, I'd say the third one is the best watch. Not only because it offers some insight into the roster selection process, but also because it's the strongest indication yet that Jacoby Jones will be carved a bigger role in the offense and Trindon Holliday will be on the opening roster. Other parts I enjoyed included how Marciano teaches punt returning (a towel under each arm, so you keep your elbows close to your body), and how they brought in Arena League goalposts (9 feet wide, as opposed to 18 feet, 6 inches in the NFL) for the kickers to train with.
