Are these two teams really in a rivalry? For nine years now, they've played six times. They certainly are "supposed" to be rivals, at least geographically, but I have a hard time pulling up any ill will for Texas. This is coming from a guy who dislikes anything related to Dallas just on principle.
↵Yes, it sucked when Nolan Ryan signed with them and set all sorts of records or when he wanted to go into the Hall of Fame in a Rangers hat. But that's it. I have no real beef with the Rangers other than they kick the crap out of the Astros every year. I even have friends that root for both the Rangers and the Astros.
↵I'll ask again. Should this be a bigger rivalry than it is? Do you look forward to this series?
