First off, welcome to the big leagues, kid. You're first task is hitting this two-time Cy Young winner, and snuggie wearing 26-year old.
↵However, ESPN's Jason Grey doesn't expect much from Castro, offensively, for this season:
↵"The bottom line is that Castro won't offer much in the way of power or speed at the moment, and his primary asset with the bat will be, at best, hitting for a decent average and getting on base a decent amount. The production just won't be there at the moment ..."↵
Grey also critiqued Stanford's hitting philosophy, saying its approach leaves its hitters without authority at the next level.
↵Castro is leaving Triple-A with only 11 extra base hits in 57 games, while hitting .265 and slugging merely .355.
