Dynamo Lose Heartbreaker To Red Bull In Final Seconds, 2-1

The Houston Dynamo and Red Bull New York were mere seconds away from a 1-1 tie Wednesday night at Red Bull Arena. And suddenly, just like that, Red Bull striker Juan Pablo Angel smacked a 30-yard kick past Pat Onstad for the game-winning goal.

"I wasn't going to hit it there, to start with," Angel said of the placement of his goal. "As soon as I was going to take the free kick, he took one step to the side, and I just changed my mind at the very last second. And the ball dipped right at the right time, and it hit his back and went in. I think it was spectacular."

Houston (5-6-1) has come across their first losing streak of the season after their home loss to Philadelphia last Sunday.

"It's Wednesday, we just lost a tough game here," Houston coach Dominic Kinnear said. "I think we'll let this one sink in, and then we'll start thinking about Los Angeles. The next game after something like this is important."
