Astros Leave Only Four On Base In Backing A Solid Outing From Moehler

Denver, CO (Sports Network) – Carlos Lee capped a late-inning comeback with a go-ahead, two-out single in the eighth, and the Astros held on for a 4-3 victory against Colorado in the continuation of a four-game series from Coors Field.

Lee ended 3-for-4 with a run scored and Tommy Manzella collected two hits and an RBI for Houston, which had lost two of its last three. Brian Moehler went six innings in the start and surrendered three runs on nine hits, while Wilton Lopez (3-0) earned the win for pitching an inning of scoreless relief. Matt Lindstrom got his 14th save.

Jeff Francis recovered from back-to-back shaky outings to go seven innings and hold Houston to a pair of runs on seven hits without issuing a walk. Matt Belisle (1-2) gave up two runs and recorded one out in relief.

Troy Tulowitzki had a two-run double and Brad Hawpe an RBI single as Colorado did all of its scoring in the first inning.
