Chris Wallace Becomes The First Astros Draftee To Sign

Zachary Levine of the Houston Chronicle is reporting that former UH catcher Chris Wallace has signed with the Astros.

Wallace, 22, was picked Tuesday in the 16th round at No. 483 overall.
Wallace hit .291 with a team-leading 10 home runs as senior. He had a .388 on-base percentage and .486 slugging percentage.

Before signing with the Cougars, Wallace attended Cy-Fair High School.
