And The 2010 ESPY For The Best Bowler Goes To...

New, 1 comment

Yeah. No one cares about the best bowler. Nor do they care about the ESPY that's awarded to the best bowler. Nor the best NBA player, nor the best MLB player, nor any ESPY. That's because the best of anything wins championships. Not ESPY's.

If you're tied down in front of a TV tonight, well, good luck.

You can't watch baseball, and the Rockets are done with summer league. The Dynamo are off tonight, and football season is still a long ways away. I wonder if this was done on purpose...?

↵

Regardless, I'm not expecting you to watch the ESPY's, and I won't be tuning in, either.

For one, I'm bitter that not one Houston athlete is nominated for anything.

Yup. 35 categories. 148 nominations. Not one Houston representative. Now, I'm not new to the whole "Houston gets no national coverage even when our teams are good" thing, but Andre Johnson could've at least been nominated. Oh, wait, scratch that, Brett Favre is still in the league, so he can have his retirement cake and eat it too.
