In that awkward dead time between OTA's and Training Camp, Texans players often scatter far and wide. Some stay in the city, some work out together, and some go back home. In the case of Houston second rounder Ben Tate, he's chosen the latter option, returning to the Maryland shore. And all they're doing for Tate is throwing him a parade. No, seriously.

↵While he wanted to have a local get-together in his hometown, Tate said Saturday's parade was a surprise to him. He says it feels strange to have an event and parade named for him.
↵"It's really weird," he said.

Tate should take solace in the fact that no matter how weird it is for him, this will likely be one of the least offensive parades staged by a city named Berlin in the last century.
