Dynamo Striker Brian Ching Added To MLS All-Star Roster

Brian Ching has been announced as one of two Commissioner's picks for this year's All-Star game showdown with Manchester United. Jose de Jesus Ortiz of the Houston Chronicle has more:

"It's so well deserved," [MLS Commissioner Don Garber] said in an exclusive interview with the Chronicle. "As part of our agreement with the union, I have two picks. Boy, it took me about five seconds to come to the decision that Brian Ching would be the first one.

This will be Ching's fourth appearance in the MLS All-Star Game. As Ortiz notes, Ching will be busy promoting the event as much as he can. He will serve as a referee at the Celebrity 7 v 7 match at Discovery Green on July 27, will make an appearance at the very first Soccer Film Festival on July 25 and will host a postgame fundraising party at the House of Blues on the night of the 28th.

We're all happy for Ching to have made the roster yet again. If you're available, stop by a few of these events in order to give back to the game that Ching and the Dynamo have built their lives around. Let's show Ching as much support as we can.
