Your 2010 Batting Average Leaders...

I know this is somewhat skewed because of plate appearances, but, still, this is ridiculous:

1. 1.000, Gustavo Chacin

2. .309, Chris Johnson

3. .292, Felipe Paulino

4. .286, Wandy Rodruiguez

4. .286, Angel Sanchez

Please disregard that three of our top five BA leaders are pitchers.

Also, please disregard that Johnson has played 29 games while Sanchez has appeared in 13.

That's not my point.

My point, however, is that we need a change. Mr. Ed Wade, this is your time. There are ten days until the trade deadline passes, and a move needs to be made.

No, not a move like "bring up our one ready prospect to watch him hit .177", nor is this a move like "go get a middle reliever like George Sherrill to shore up our bullpen".

This season is done. Trade what we have, that's of value, which isn't much, that will help us in the future.
