Handbags! Puebla and Houston Literally Fight It Out! Red Cards Fly!

Too much to happening to coherently report, but here’s what you need to know.

In the 87th minute Anthony Obodai and a Puebla player clashed in the middle of the field. A fight broke out and two Puebla players received red cards for the altercation. At least one Dynamo player received a yellow card.

Just over one minute later, Dominic Oduro sprinted down the pitch and was set up for a 1-on-1 with Juan Garcia Rulfo only to be brought down from the side inside of the box. Apparently referee Reyna thought Oduro dove and gave him a yellow card. He then thought that Oduro already was on a yellow and gave him a red card. There was some confusion as to if Oduro was already on a yellow and the referee caught it too late, having already sent the forward off.

All of this occurred after Dynamo midfielder Danny Cruz was sent off in the 77th minute for a second yellow card.
