One Schaub Helping Another

There is a lot that Matt Schaub has done for Houston proper. The Texans, even if they can't get over the hump, are no longer a national joke of a team. They have a strong passing game, one of the best in the league some might say, thanks to Matt's accuracy. But another thing he has helped is awareness of how to say the name Schaub, as per Katy Times publisher Terry Schaub:

For the five decades I have been on this planet, no one has ever been able to pronounce my name CORRECTLY from the get-go.

But that is beginning to change since moving to Katy.

On Friday, when I spelled my name, and the girl behind the counter said, "Matt Schaub."

↵

Without missing a beat, I replied, "Yep, Cousin Matt."

Suuuure, rub it in that Josh and Luke McCown failed miserably at the NFL level.
