The Texans have a little Blind Side situation of their own in training camp with Arkansas undrafted rookie London Crawford. Crawford, 23, was profiled by Marc Berman over at My FOX Houston. He's got his own story of rescue, by another family off the mean streets of Moblie, ala Michael Oher's story in the Michael Lewis novel (and later movie) The Blind Side. Crawford was taken in by Janice and Bryan Givens:
↵↵↵:"When I wanted to go out and party, I called and talked to her and she said think about this and think about the outcome of that. When I really needed tutoring and study hall I didn't really have to go to that. I could just go to her and get it from her and be comfortable at home. It was a great thing having them there."
↵The Givens wanted to adopt Crawford, but Janice Givens said he told her he didn't need a piece of paper to tell him who his family is.
↵"Why do we need a piece of paper to let me know you guys are going to be there for me like a family?" said Crawford. "l didn't need a piece of paper. We are all together in this. You tell me you accept me in your family. So why do we need a paper to join us?
