Ryan Moats: Living The Madden Dream

Some players are content to just let the offseason go and do as they please, but apparently for Ryan Moats, the offseason just means more time in football. Only this time, on the Madden side of things:

Moats is a backup running back, just trying to make the roster in his first year with the Minnesota Vikings after two seasons with the Houston Texans and two with the Philadelphia Eagles. His self-declared second passion? Developing video-game graphics.

Moats talked his way into an internship with EA Sports as a rookie, helping design parts of the popular "Madden" football games. Moats says he hopes to find a job in the field once his NFL days are done.

Players often get fired up about their ratings in the game, with a new version coming out each summer. Moats says he didn't have any input into that, though.

If he did, I'd expect him to be a little higher than a 68.
