GOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAL: What's On Television, Saturday, August 14

↵

Pardon me, I didn't see you there. I was too busy absorbing the awesomeness that is the Barclay Premier League's opening weekend. Think the NFL's kickoff celebration, but British and boozier.

↵

Spurs and Man City kicked things off early this A.M. playing a high octane scoreless draw that had action unmatched by some 2/3 of this past World Cup (and likely damn near all the entire opening slate of games). While the EPL may not quite match the aggregate talent of the Spanish La Liga, it's likely no league in the world can match the entertainment quality of play on the pitch when things get cooking with gas.

↵

There's plenty of matches (live and tape delayed alike) throughout the remainder of the day. If you enjoyed the World Cup even in the tiniest bit, you owe yourself to give it a chance. If you need assistance picking a side, SBN's venerable Spencer Hall has you more than covered.
