Pair Create Texans-Inspired Chopper, Negotiate With Team

A pair of Texans fans and motorcycle enthusiasts, Donnie Kennedy and Don Nichelson, have created a chopper in tribute of the Houston Texans. No, it doesn't fumble riders when you come to a complete stop.

In fact, it's such a neat prize that the Texans are actually in discussion with the two to have Toro, the mascot, ride Toro, the chopper, during the season.

"It took 130 hours to build the logo tank," Nicolson said. "It took so long because we wanted to make sure it resembled the real thing. We added our own touch when we designed the horns to wrap around the handlebars."

It took additional man hours, but Kennedy is happy with the result. Nicolson, Kennedy and a host of others spent a total of 500 hours building the chopper, which was completed Aug. 4.

As someone who spends way too much time looking at game tape, I applaud these men for their strange devotion. The story picture is just the side of the bike though, so if you want to see the real thing, click here for a much better picture.
