The Houston Astros have signed 2010 first-round pick Delino DeShields Jr., the team announced Thursday. DeShields is the last of Houston’s three first round picks to sign, following Mike Foltynewicz and Michael Kvasnicka.

DeShields took two months to sign with the club. He will report to Greenville in the rookie league and play outfield, according to McTaggart.
