Texans To Work Out Adewale Ogunleye and Bobby McCray On Tuesday

In the aftermath of the Houston Texans’ impressive win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, it was undertsandably easy to remember that not everything that transpired on Sunday was gravy for Gary Kubiak’s squad. The Texans suffered a significant blow when defensive end Connor Barwin went down on Sunday with a fractured ankle. He will miss the remainder of the 2010 season.

Adjust and move on. That’s life in the NFL. So on Tuesday, the Texans will workout two veteran defensive linemen. According to ESPN’s Adam Scheffer, they are:

Adewale Ogunleye and Bobby McCray are working out with the Texans tomorrow.

Both McCray and Ogunleye have been productive in the past – each has posted a 10-plus sack season. Best of luck to Barwin in his rehabilitation, and best of luck to the Texans and the two players reportedly heading to town tomorrow to prove they’ve still got what it takes to contribute on this year’s Texans’ squad.
