Hello, Houston. It's been a long (long) time (since I've been back around again). Two weeks ago I was in a wedding, last weekend I was in a coronation. But now I'm back. I know, I know; I missed you too.

During my departure, we've had glorious, glorious American football return. There are few other times where we can become uninhibitedly tribalistic and completely xenophobic and have it be totally acceptable (aside from maybe the World Cup), but college football (and to a lesser extent, the NFL) certainly obliges. The 'Stros are even making a mad dash towards .500'dom. Why not, right?
