Beat Dallas: What's On Television Sunday, September 26, 2010

Texans v. Cowboys. Right v. Wrong. Good v. Evil.

↵

A game 4 years in the making, the Houston Texans will look today to avenge the 34-6 beat down Bill Parcells's 'Boys put down on the Texans during Gary Kubiak's first year. To add further context as to how long ago that was, Terrelle Owens stared for the Cowboys and found himself on the receiving end of a touchdown from Drew Bledsoe. It's also worth noting that Julius Jones was Dallas' leading rusher. Yikes.

↵

My have things changed since. The Texans enter today's game as 3.5 point favorites according to many books and given the matchup of Dallas' secondary against the Texans' prolific aerial attack, you'd be hard pressed not to like their chances. We already know Houston is the better city of the two, now it's time to prove we have the better football team to boot.

Dallas can be America's team; we're simply content being Texas'.
