Texans: Week Four Vs. Oakland -- Redemption

The Texans will travel to Oakland to take on the Raiders in a game that should be about re-establishing the offensive dominance that they showed in their first two games of the season. The game will be at 3:05 CT at the Oakland Coliseum and will likely be viewed by nobody but you, me, and three guys in silver and black named Ted. CBS has the coverage, and as usual, Sports Radio 610 AM, 100.3 KILT FM, OR La Tremenda 1010 AM will be your local choices should you need to bust out the radio.

Oakland comes into this game fresh off a heartbreaking loss in Arizona where they missed three field goals and lost by a single point. However, they have been pretty mediocre against their two previous opponents, who were not as bad as Arizona, and there should be some hope that the Texans can resume playing NFL level defense against Bruce Gradkowski and company. Andre Johnson aggravated his high ankle sprain against the Cowboys and may or may not play. Even if he does play, he'll be shadowed by Oakland's amazing Nmandi Asomugha. So free tip to fantasy owners: don't bother with AJ this week.

In spite of the butt whipping they took from the Cowboys, 3-1 without Brian Cushing would be nothing to sneeze at. And the fear of this perhaps being a trap game seems to be gone. The Texans have opened up as 3.5 point favorites on the road.
