What's On TV For Today: Sunday, January 23, 2011

The Rockets get a well deserved needed day off before they host the Timberwolves tomorrow; they need to win this game at home (and should, the Wolves are 2-21 on the road this year) if they want to salvage their season.

But this glorious Sunday will be solely devoted to some playoff football. If you've been in a coma for the past week, I'll give you a brief recap: the Bears host the Packers while the Steelers host the Jets.

No, I don't particularly like any team left in the playoffs, so yes, I may end up switching channels to the Anaheim Invitational Bull Riding Competition. It probably won't get to that level, but Jets and Bears fans can get to be a little too much for me to handle.

NFL:

NFC Championship Game, Green Bay at Chicago (Fox, 2)

AFC Championship Game, New York Jets at Pittsburgh (CBS, 5:30)

Bull riding:

PBR, Anaheim Invitational (Versus, 8)

Tennis:

Australian Open, round of 16 (ESPN2, 6 and 2:30 a.m.)

Golf:

PGA European Tour, Abu Dhabi Championship, final round, same-day tape (Golf Channel, 7:30 a.m.); PGA Tour, Bob Hope Classic, final round (Golf Channel, 3); Champions Tour, Mitsubishi Electric Championship, final round (Golf Channel, 6:30)
