More Bad Aggie Basketball News: J-Mychal Reese Has Knee Surgery

At the same time as we hear Texas A&M basketball coach Billy Kennedy is taking some time off for medical reasons, the Aggie office announced that Bryan High star guard and Aggie commit J-Mychal Reese had surgery on his knee to fix an injury to his meniscus he suffered in July.

It sounded like the surgery went well and Reese shouldn't miss much time. He's one of the stars in a loaded Aggie recruiting class for next year and could be just the fifth player in history to garner all-state recognition for four years. That's pretty impressive, but not surprising for a player who former Aggie coach Billy Gillispie started recruiting in seventh grade.
