At the same time as we hear Texas A&M basketball coach Billy Kennedy is taking some time off for medical reasons, the Aggie office announced that Bryan High star guard and Aggie commit J-Mychal Reese had surgery on his knee to fix an injury to his meniscus he suffered in July.
↵It sounded like the surgery went well and Reese shouldn't miss much time. He's one of the stars in a loaded Aggie recruiting class for next year and could be just the fifth player in history to garner all-state recognition for four years. That's pretty impressive, but not surprising for a player who former Aggie coach Billy Gillispie started recruiting in seventh grade.
