Aggie Coach Blair Inducted In Texas Hall of Fame

Texas A&M women's basketball head coach Gary Blair joined former A&M softball player Shawn Andaya in being inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in Waco.

Blair's name is conspicuous because he just led the Aggie women to their first national title this year. He's been wildly successful at A&M since moving from Arkansas, but one title seems like not enough of a reason for induction, right?

That's until you look at his record at Stephen F. Austin. Blair could have been a HOF-eligible coach on just that time, but added his experience at A&M to push him over the top. Now, Blair is making a run at being one of the best coaches in college basketball and has a little profile coming off the national title.

I just wish I could be there for his induction speech. Knowing how much he likes to talk, that thing could go on for two days...
