Texas A&M women's basketball head coach Gary Blair joined former A&M softball player Shawn Andaya in being inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame in Waco.
↵Blair's name is conspicuous because he just led the Aggie women to their first national title this year. He's been wildly successful at A&M since moving from Arkansas, but one title seems like not enough of a reason for induction, right?
↵That's until you look at his record at Stephen F. Austin. Blair could have been a HOF-eligible coach on just that time, but added his experience at A&M to push him over the top. Now, Blair is making a run at being one of the best coaches in college basketball and has a little profile coming off the national title.
↵I just wish I could be there for his induction speech. Knowing how much he likes to talk, that thing could go on for two days...
