Matt Leinart Injury Update: Texans QB Suffers Injury To Clavicle, Per Report

The Houston Texans can't seem to catch a break with their quarterbacks, as Matt Leinart has been ruled out for the rest of the game as the quarterback suffered an injury to his shoulder/clavicle late the second half and had to be escorted off the field by Texans' trainers.

Per the NFL Network's Rich Eisen:

@RichEisen Matt Leinart just taken off field, holding left clavicle. Enter TJ Yates. Next man up after may be Kubiak. Or Greg Knapp.

Yes, that means that rookie quarterback TJ Yates from North Carolina has been asked to step in for Leinart. The Texans don't have another active quarterback on the roster, and the Jaguars have been able to get pressure on the quarterback thus far.

Leinart finished his day going 10-13 passing for 57 yards and a touchdown on one half of play.
