Week 15 NFL Lines And Odds: Texans Vs. Panthers

The Houston Texans are preparing to host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday in Week 15 NFL action. The Texans are absolutely rolling. They are one of four team to have already clinched a playoff berth and they've won their last seven straight games. If it weren't for the Green Bay Packers, they'd own the longest winning streak in all of football.

The Panthers are coming off a Week 14 loss to the Atlanta Falcons and are 2-3 over their last five games. They're tied for last place in the NFC South with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and hold a 4-9 record. The odds for Sunday's game are staunchly in Houston's favor, according to our friends over at OddsShark.

The Texans are currently pegged to win by 5.5 and 6 points. Although they would appear to be the stronger team on paper and based on their respective records, the Panthers have shown this year that they're nothing if not unpredictable. Rookie quarterback Cam Newton can sometimes reel off an otherworldly game and lead Carolina to a surprising upset. It's up to Houston to contain him and make sure that doesn't happen.
