Houston Texans Injury Report, Week 17: Andre Johnson One Step Closer To Returning

Houston Texans' wide receiver Andre Johnson was limited once again on practice but head coach Gary Kubiak said that Johnson had improved since Wednesday's practice. Johnson and the Texans are eyeing a return to the field on Sunday so Johnson can get some reps before the Texans head into the playoffs. However, Kubiak stopped short of promising that Johnson would play on Sunday.

"Andre was better today so we're well on our way to him playing this weekend," Kubiak said. "But, until we get there . . . Yesterday there was improvement. Today there was improvement off yesterday. We'll go into Friday and see where he's at. But everything is heading in the right direction."
