Rockets Vs. Grizzlies Final Score: Memphis Has Big Third Quarter To Defeat Houston, 113-93

The Houston Rockets are in the second game of a back-to-back-to-back and were soundly defeated by the Memphis Grizzles Friday night. This time the Rockets were on the opposite side of a 20-point beat down. The Rockets were defeated in every category on the night which explains how they lost by 20 points.

However, the big difference tonight was how each team shot the ball. Houston relied on the three-point shot and did make 11 of 29 while Memphis connected on zero, but that did not matter as Memphis shot 56 percent from the field compared to Houston who connected on only 43 percent of their shots. Plus there was the free throw disparity where Memphis went to the line 33 times compared to Houston's 18.

Memphis had two big runs in tonights game which secured the win, the first was a 10-2 in the second quarter and another during their big third quarter where Memphis used an 18-7 run to gave them a 21-point lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Memphis had six players in double figure on the night with Zach Randolph leading the way with 23 points. Houston was led in scoring by Kevin Martin who had 21 on the night.
