GOAL: Freeman Scores On Goal Line Scrap

Defender Hunter Freeman scored his first goal of the season after tapping in a goal while standing on the goal line. Freeman was in the six yard box as part of a corner kick and did enough to hold off Matt Reis and the rest of the Revolution defense.

Freeman’s goal was the result of some scrappy play and was possible after forward Cam Weaver’s header blasted and then ricocheted off the bar and straight back down inside of the box.

Houston now have a 1-0 lead over New England.
