With the 34th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft, the Buffalo Bills selected University of Texas standout cornerback Aaron Williams.
For the Texas Longhorn, it is a long trip to Buffalo but a great opportunity for Williams to make an impact. Buffalo stands to lose Donte Whitier to free agency while their cornerback corps went down with a bunch of injuries last year. Williams, who can play free safety or cornerback for the Bills, will get an opportunity to get on the field early and often. Concerns about his speed kept him out of the first round, but Aaron Williams will be a key part of the young Buffalo defense, along with Jarius Byrd, Marcell Dareus, and Kyle Williams, moving forward.
