It's time for another fantastic round of everyone's favorite game, Somewhat Unsubstantiated Rumors!
I'm hearing rumors and rumblings that Houston Dynamo midfielder and former Jamaican international Lovel Palmer as well as defender Mike Chabala are headed to the Portland Timbers in exchange for a not-yet-named player. Given that Houston is in need of either a center-attacking midfielder or a forward, a player like Kenny Cooper could be on the move from Portland.
More information will be shared as soon as it is received.
Jesus Ortiz of the Houston Chronicle just tweeted the following:
@Chabala17 and @palmerboy22 out of lineup. Hearing they've been traded, but Chris Canetti will only say announcement will be made tomorrow
Looks like the rumors are true but we won't know more until tomorrow's announcement.
