Texas A&M has fallen from the rankings and has not performed up to their preseason projections this season. After starting the season at 8-1, Texas A&M has lost five of their last seven games with their only wins coming against Arkansas State and Texas Tech. If they can get a win on the road at Missouri Monday night it will certainly help get them back on track.
Both Rice and Houston are trying to make a name for themselves within Conference USA, neither team is expected to make an NCAA tournament run. However, to get in the discussion they must beat the mediocre teams in C-USA and that is who both Rice and Houston are playing this week.
