After one quarter in the first ever NBC Sunday night game in the history of the Houston Texans franchise the home team has fallen behind 14-0 thanks to a revival of the Packers' passing game. Aaron Rodgers has already connected on a pair of touchdown passes and is 9 of 14 for 129 yards passing so far.
Green Bay's first score was a long pass to Jordy Nelson, who scored from 41 yards out just over three minutes into the game. The scoring pass capped a seven-play, 67-yard opening drive for the Packers, who opened with a defensive stop.
James Jones caught the second scoring pass from Rodgers on their next drive. He scored from six yards out to cap a six play, 56-yard drive. Alex Green has also been effective on the ground to break up the passing game for Green Bay. He has rushed for 26 yards on six carries.
