Les Miles plans on watching some college football sitting down this Saturday, when his LSU Tigers have a bye week. One game that's sure to focus his attention is the 7:30 p.m. ET ESPN game, which matches No. 1 Alabama and No. 11 Mississippi State, the next two visitors to Tiger Stadium.
Miles doesn't need to save the game on his DVR - he gets film that has far more angles than the television broadcast - but he "might have a note or two there," he says. Miles also says that this Alabama team "compares to any" and that they "look like Alabama teams that we've played in the past, I promise."
The winner of this Saturday's game will lead the SEC West: Alabama is 4-0 in the SEC and Mississippi State is 3-0 in-conference. Alabama and LSU will be broadcast from Baton Rouge on CBS at 7 p.m. ET on Nov. 3. Mississippi State visits Tiger Stadium on Nov. 10.
