The Texas A&M Aggies have gone into Tuscalossa, Al. to face the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide and have come away with a 20-0 lead after the first quarter in front of a stunned Crimson Tide crowd.
Aggies quarterback Johnny Manziel has proven to be quite the problem for Alabama's defense where he is both a threat to run and pass the ball. Manziel already has 76 yards on 10-for-11 passing and one touchdown as well as five carries for 74 yards rushing. The Aggies have had the ball for 10:29 compared to the Crimson Tide's 4:21 which has aided in the Aggies holding the Crimson Tide's offense to a total of 34 yards.
Christine Michael has two rushing touchdowns and Manziel has one passing touchdown for the Aggies.
After the Crimson Tide barely escaped the LSU Tigers last week, the Aggies apparently smell blood as the invincibility cloak that has surrounded the Crimson Tide all season seems to be losing its strength.
