Texas A&M vs. Alabama score update: Crimson Tide cut lead to 20-17 after three quarters

After the Texas A&M Aggies opened the game scoring 20 unanswered points in the first quarter, the Alabama Crimson Tide have now struck back with 17 unanswered in the second and third quarters to make the score 20-17 heading into the fourth quarter.

The only third quarter scoring came on a 28-yard field goal by Alabama's Jeremy Shelley with 5:41 remaining in the third. The field goal capped off a 10-play drive that was aided by an A.J. McCarron completion to Eddie Lacy for 21 yards.

Lacy and T.J. Yeldon scored Alabama's first half touchdowns. Texas A&M got two rushing touchdowns from Christine Michael and a 10-yard touchdown pass from Johnny Manziel to Ryan Swope. The Aggies have the ball in Alabama territory as the fourth quarter begins.

Manziel is 21-for-23 passing for 159 yards. He has also ran the ball 15 times for 90 yards.

Lacy has 14 carries for 87 yards. McCarron is 12-for-21 for 108 yards and he's thrown one interception.
