Texans vs. Bears 3rd Quarter Update: Bears close to 10-6

After three quarters in Chicago the Bears have pulled back a field goal thanks to along reception by receiver Brandon Marshall. Houston leads 10-6 after three quarters. Marshall caught a 45-yard pass from Jason Campbell that moved the ball all the way down to the Houston 10-yard line, setting up a 24-yard field goal from kicker Robbie Gould.

That was the only scoring play in a third quarter that continued to be dominated by defense. The Texans knocked bears quarterback Jay Cutler from the game with a possible concussion. Cutler has not played in the second half, giving way to Jason Campbell at halftime.

The Bears' offense has performed better in the second half under Campbell, however, as they have nearly doubled their total yardage after a rough first half. In turn, Chicago has stepped up its own defense to limit the Bears. After 85 yards in the first half Arian Foster only rushed for 9 third quarter yards.
