The Houston Cougars hope to send their seniors out with a win on Satruday as they host the Tulane Green Wave.
Houston is looking to snap their three-game losing streak that has them disqualified for a bowl game. Last week's 44-41 loss the the Marshall Thundering Herd was particularly difficult, as the Cougars nearly overcame a 21-point second-half deficet.
The Cougars offense has still been effective this year despite the loss of head coach Kevin Sumlin to the Texas A&M Aggies. Houston is 11th in the nation in passing yards per-game, averaging 324.6 yards each contest. The defense has struggled this season, as the unit allows 37.7 points-per-game, 116th worst in the nation.
Tulane has also played a disappointing season, as they are currently last in the Conference USA West division. Both the offense and the defense have struggled for the Green Wave this year; the offense is 102nd in the country in scoring points, while the defense ranks 118th in surrendering points.
Game Time: Saturday, Nov. 24; 2:30 p.m CT
