SB Nation's bowl projections presented a present this week for fans of the Longhorns and Aggies and Texas and Texas A&M are expected to meet in the Cotton Bowl thanks to the SEC and and Big 12 ties in the game. Both Texas and Texas A&M moved up in this week's BCS standings, but not enough to be a threat for a BCS bowl yet.
Alabama stayed at No. 1 this week after their last minute 21-17 win at LSU. The Crimson Tide is an almost unanimous No. 1 at this point in the season. Only Notre Dame beats them as No. 1 in two computer polls and the Crimson Tide is not unanimous in the Harris Poll yet.
Kansas State stayed at No. 2 after beating Oklahoma State comfortably at home. Oregon's impressive win at USC moved the Ducks to No. 3, as they passed Notre Dame, who barely won at home against Pittsburgh.
Texas A&M moved to No. 15 while Texas moved to two spots behind them at No. 17.
