The Texas A&M Aggies have been one of the SEC's hottest teams, and A&M continued that hot streak with a 38-13 win over Mississippi State Saturday. With the victory, the Aggies improved to 7-2 overall and 5-2 in SEC play and moved into second place in the Western Division.

LSU (7-2, 3-2 SEC) dropped to a tie for third place in the division with the Bulldogs (7-2, 3-2). The Tigers held a lead against No. 1 Alabama with fewer than two minutes remaining Saturday night, but the Crimson Tide (9-0, 7-0) rallied for a late touchdown and a stunning victory.

In the East, Georgia remained in control of its destiny with a 37-10 victory over Ole Miss (5-4, 2-3). The Bulldogs can clinch a spot in the SEC Championship Game with a win over rival Auburn next week. Florida (8-1, 7-1) concluded its SEC slate with a closer-than-expected 14-7 win over Missouri (4-5, 1-5). Vanderbilt (5-4, 3-3) moved within a game of bowl eligibility with a 40-0 rout against Kentucky (1-9, 0-7).
