On Saturday, the Sam Houston St. Bearkats will make their second consecutive appearance in the FCS semifinals when they take on the No. 2-seeded Eastern Washington Eagles at Roos Field. The Bearkats bested No. 3 seed Montana State last Friday to advance.
Sam Houston State won 34-16, while Eastern Washington won a high-paced shootout against Illinois State 51-35. It's going to be an interesting game, given that the Bearkats have won games due to their strong offense this season, while the Eagles have done everything they can to force (and win) shootouts all year.
Georgia Southern and North Dakota State face off on the other side of the bracket. Georgia Southern has more FCS titles than any other school, while NDS was the winner last year.
Game time: 4 p.m. ET, Dec. 15, 2012
Where: Roos Field, Cheney, WA
