The Houston Rockets are looking to snap their current two-game losing streak as they are leading the Phoenix Suns 59-39 at the break. The Rockets have spread the scoring out with all 11 players that have seen action have put points on the board with Kevin Martin and Luis Scola leading the charge with 11 and 10 points respectively.
The Rockets are dominating in every category in this game with the big difference being the shooting percentage between each team. The Suns are right at 40 percent while the Rockets are nearly hitting half of their shots at 48 percent. The rebounding edge is another area that the Rockets are dominating against the Suns 29 to 18 edge and a plus six edge on the offensive end which is allowing for more second chance opportunities for the Rockets.
The Suns have never been in this game as they fell behind early in the first quarter and kept digging themselves in a deeper hole throughout the second quarter. Marcin Gortat and Jared Dudley are doing their best at keeping the Suns in this game; Gortat has 12 points and is shooting 60 percent from the field with eight rebounds and Dudley has 10 points tonight.
