Rockets Vs. Bobcats Final Score: Houston Cruises Past Charlotte 107-87

The Houston Rockets grabbed an early lead and then used a big third quarter to bury the Charlotte Bobcats cruising home to a 107-87 win. After taking a 50-40 lead into halftime, Houston outscored Charlotte 37-16 in the third quarter and were able to give their starters some much needed rest down the stretch.

Luis Scola scored 14 of his 23 points in the third quarter to lead the Rockets. Goran Dragic and Jordan Hill scored 14 points each while Samuel Dalembert recorded a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Houston hits 54 percent of its shots from the field

Charlotte was led by Derrick Brown's 15 points. Gerald Henderson, Corey Maggette, Byron Mullens and Reggie Williams finished with 10 points each. Rookie Kemba Walker finished with six points on just 3-13 shooting.
