Rockets Vs. Hornets Score Update: Houston Trails 42-33 At Halftime Of Season Finale

Despite falling short of the playoffs, the Rockets played the first half with most of their normal lineup. Unfortunately, their normal lineup is having trouble with the Hornets for the second time in a week, as Houston trails 42-33 at halftime.

Chase Budinger got the start and leads Houston with 12 points on 5-for-8 shooting. Samuel Dalembert has nine points and 10 rebounds at the break. The Rockets are shooting just 26.7 percent (12-for-25) from the field, including an ugly 3-for-16 from three-point range. The Hornets are shooting 42.4 percent (14-for-33) and are led with 11 points from Jerome Dyson.

The Rockets have fallen short of the playoffs for the last three seasons, but to end this regular season with another loss to the Hornets — this time at home — would be a rough way to finish.
